Apple season is on ! And this sweet and delicious dessert is simple to make, and thanks to sweet pastry and less sweetened yet still a bit crunchy apples, it seems to be slightly caramelized. Try it with ice cream or chocolate souse.. Or simply have it when it’s still a bit warm..

4 big apples
1 spoon of brown sugar
1 spoon of cinnamon

1 1/2 cup of flour
3/4 cup of sugar
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 cup of butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
pinch of salt

Start with warm butter and sugar, mix them till the mixture is smooth and fluffy.Add slowly egg yolks, and then the rest of ingredients. Mix it all well, and then form your pastry in to a boll, and leave it in the fridge for around 20 min. Meanwhile peel and cut your apples in to slices. Place them in the bowl and mix with 1/2 spoon of brown sugar and cinnamon. Take the pastry out of the fridge, and using simply your fingers put it piece after piece on the baking mold, then place apple slices and sprinkle the rest of brown sugar on top. Place it in the hot oven ( 375 F ) for around 50 min. I hope you will like it as much as we all did !
